Outpatient Substance Use Disorder Treatment Services

Traditional Individual Therapy (ASAM level 1)

Services based on the need of the individual to meet one on one with a therapist on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly basis.

Outpatient Therapy Phase 2 Program (ASAM level 1)

  • One 3-hour group per week
  • One individual therapy session per week

Outpatient Phase 3 Program (ASAM level 1)

  • One 2-hour group per week
  • One individual therapy session per week

Medication Assisted Treatment Program (MAT) ASAM level 1

  • Medical provider group for medication management
  • Group Therapy
  • Individual Therapy
    • MAT Program Levels
      • Beginner (Patients with less than 90 days of sobriety): weekly medication management provider group, weekly one-hour professional therapy group and one hour of individual therapy per month.
      • Intermediate (Patients with 90 days or more sobriety and compliance with beginner MAT requirements)
      • Advanced (1 year of sobriety and complete compliance with ALL beginner/intermediate requirements)
      • Intensive
  • All MAT Groups are currently held remotely using telehealth via the Zoom platform.
  • Accommodations are available for any patient who does not have internet or device access to access services on site.

Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) ASAM level 2.1

Mountaineer Behavioral Health’s Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) offers 9 hours of clinical group therapy per week and one hour of professional individual therapy per week.

  • IOP Groups
    • 9am – 12pm Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday
    • 2pm – 5pm Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday
    • 5pm – 8pm Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday (Coming Soon!)

All IOP Groups are offered both in-person and remotely on telehealth using the zoom platform.
