Mountaineer Recovery Women’s Center Program is located in Berkley County in Kearneysville, WV on the Mountaineer Recovery Center Campus. This ASAM level 3.5 and ASAM level 3.1 is a residential program whose primary purpose is to serve the treatment needs of alcohol and other drug-dependent pregnant women and/or women with children across the state of WV. Our Women’s Center will have 12 beds dedicated specifically to pregnant and parenting women. Mountaineer Women’s Center program offers a variety of medical, clinical, and supportive/ancillary services to the persons served and family an opportunity to engage in a treatment program tailored to meet their specific needs. Mountaineer Women’s Center is a 24-hour residential treatment center. Length of stay varies based on the individual needs of each patient and can range from 28 – 180 days or more based on the medical necessity criteria.
Eligibility requirements: Adult females ages 18 and older that are residents in the state of West Virginia who are either single, pregnant, or have physical custody of 1-2 children under the age of 5 years old that are able to live with a person served in the residential program.

Please have the following information: Birth Certificate, Social Security Card, Medical Insurance card for the applicant and each child requesting admission as well as photo identification for applicant and immunization records for each child and any documents related to custody.
How long is the wait: Admission is based on the availability of an open bed. Applicants can be referred to another comparable facility within the state if no beds are readily available. Applicants will receive interim services and resources from Mountaineer Behavioral Health and from other Community resources available while awaiting admission.
